About Jessica Boblak

Jessica Boblak, PT, DPT, C-MLD is a dedicated and compassionate Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in pelvic floor rehabilitation and lymphedema therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Governors State University. With a strong foundation in kinesiology and psychology, Jessica brings a comprehensive, biopsychosocial lens to patient care. She holds advanced certification in Pelvic Floor Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (C-MLD) and is also a certified personal trainer.

Her clinical background includes experience in orthopedic, lymphatic and pelvic health settings as one of the founding members of Acu Rehab Med. Jessica is especially committed to individualized, whole-person care, with a focus on empowering each patient through education, movement, and a strong therapeutic alliance. Her early work as a personal assistant for individuals with disabilities helped shape her inclusive, patient-centered approach.

Jessica has contributed to the field through research on healthcare students’ attitudes and confidence when working with older adults, and she is currently engaged in research focused on the international implementation of pelvic rehabilitation education in developing regions, including recent work in Guyana. She also serves as a teaching assistant for Herman & Wallace’s Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, supporting the next generation of pelvic health therapists.

Outside of her clinical and academic pursuits, Jessica enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, and creative outlets such as painting and crafting. She’s an advocate for mental health and community engagement, having participated in events like the Walk for National Suicide Prevention. Jessica’s combination of clinical expertise, research engagement, and holistic care philosophy makes her a valued ally on her patients’ journeys toward healing and restored function.
