Lauren Mansell, PT, DPT, PRPC, CLT, CMTPT-DN, AIB-VRC, CYT, is a highly experienced physical therapist specializing in pelvic health, oncology rehabilitation, lymphatic therapy, concussion management, and vestibular rehabilitation. Lauren earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Governors State University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Northwestern University. Additionally, she is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Acupuncture at Pacific College in Chicago, IL.
Lauren’s clinical expertise includes adult and pediatric pelvic rehabilitation, lymphedema management, oncology therapy, specialized yoga therapy, myofascial/dry needling and vestibular and concussion rehabilitation. She holds certifications as a Pelvic Rehabilitation Professional Certificate, Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher, Certified Breast Cancer Yoga Instructor, Certified Dry Needling through Myopain and is certified in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation through the American Institute of Balance. Lauren is also trained in hippotherapy and has created many courses in trauma informed care, bringing a holistic and patient-centered approach to her practice.
Beyond clinical practice, Lauren is actively involved in teaching and research. She serves as adjunct faculty at Governors State University, lectures at Prairie State Community College, and instructs specialty courses through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Institute and Pelvic Health Research Initiative. Lauren has presented her research internationally, including at the PSOGI Congress in Paris, and maintains ongoing involvement in clinical research initiatives including a current study providing pelvic rehabilitation education in developing countries.
