About Yulissa Moreno

Yulissa Moreno, PTA is a highly skilled and compassionate bilingual Physical Therapist Assistant specializing in pelvic health, lymphedema management, and oncology rehabilitation, with advanced experience treating both adult and pediatric populations. As a proud Latina and fluent Spanish and English speaker, Yulissa offers culturally responsive, accessible care that bridges communication gaps and fosters deeper therapeutic connections with diverse communities.

Yulissa has focused her clinical practice on pelvic floor rehabilitation and manual lymphatic therapy, including care for patients recovering from cancer, surgery, and chronic pelvic conditions. She has a particular passion for working with pediatric patients experiencing bowel, bladder, or developmental dysfunctions related to pelvic or lymphatic impairments, always striving to create a safe and empowering environment for children and families alike.

Yulissa’s clinical foundation was shaped by rotations in orthopedic and sports medicine, as well as skilled nursing settings, where she developed strong proficiency in therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and patient education. Her adaptability and commitment to holistic, individualized care continue to guide her patient-focused care.

At Acu Rehab Med, Yulissa thrives within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with physical therapists, acupuncturists, and healthcare providers to improve care coordination and maximize patient outcomes. Her warm, communicative nature and trauma-informed approach allow her to build trust quickly—especially with underserved or vulnerable populations.

For Yulissa, rehabilitation is more than clinical practice—it’s a platform for advocacy, equity, and healing. Each day, she leads with integrity, empathy, and purpose to help her patients restore confidence, function, and quality of life.
